WIRE - Waste biorefinery technologies for accelerating sustainable energy processes

This project aims to actively contribute to (i) the promotion of the circular economy, (ii) the promotion of bioenergy and the bioeconomy, (iii) the promotion of Research and Innovation in the field (iv) the promotion of applied research for biorefineries implementation (v) the promotion of EU-wide harmonisation of scientific and technical approaches, thus facilitating engagement with policy makers and industry (vi) the "paving of the ground" for a more effective link with the relevant sectors of industry and to arouse their interest.
