The Mértola Historic Centre Residents' Association has set up a Local Energy Efficiency Support Office, which, through an application approved by EPAH, will develop the Happy Energy 4 ALL project to combat energy poverty in Mértola's Historic Centre.
UPDATE
As of 21 September 2023, the project has already completed the first phase of the diagnosis with home visits and interviews.
The One Stop Shop has also been set up at the headquarters of the Mértola Parish Council and several residents have responded to requests in the area of energy poverty and efficiency.
The coordinator took part in two annual international EPAH meetings
Through participation in the Power Poor project, GLAEE was able to train and certify 3 energy mentors
GLAEE is currently part of the national network of energy supporters and mentors organised by Coopérnico.
It is also working on the creation of the Renewable Energy Community of the Historic Centre of Mértola
The Final Diagnostic Report is due to be presented to the public at the end of November, followed by the drafting of the Action Plan for the Elimination of Energy Poverty in the Historic Centre of Mértola.
