The Centro Social Paroquial Divino Salvador de Ribas, which has been in operation since 1992, is a Private Social Solidarity Institution, with its headquarters at Avenida do Centro Social, Ribas, in the municipality of Celorico de Basto, dedicated to providing social support services for children and the elderly. It sees itself as a space where all the activities that meet the recreational and educational needs of the youngest are carried out and a focus for the entire population to promote active ageing and combat social isolation, as far as the senior population is concerned. The Social Centre bases its intervention on the continuous improvement of its practices and on raising the quality of the services it provides. It therefore aims to provide an increasingly qualified and certified service in the social responses it develops, always with a view to satisfying the needs of users and their families.
