Smart Farm Colab Collaborative Laboratory

The main purpose of the SMART FARM COLAB Association (SFCOLAB) is to innovate agriculture in the municipality, the Western region and the country, with a view to digitising it. SFCOLAB is a collaborative laboratory made up of a consortium of private companies, research institutions and universities, aimed at applied research in agriculture to generate innovative and automated digital solutions that enable better efficient management of resources and maximise the added value of national horticulture, fruit growing and viticulture products. In this sense, SFCOLAB addresses the current challenges related to this economic area, including climate change, artificial intelligence and the circular economy. It aims to be a national and international benchmark for digitalisation in the agricultural sector.
