Non Drinking Water Use for Irrigation

In a reality where the scarcity of water is increasingly certain, Inframoura, in order to use water resources efficiently, implemented a system for the use of non-potable water for the irrigation systems of the public green spaces. This system results from the use of high phreatic levels, coming from the Golf channels, having been, until now, used about 10.000 m3 of water per year for a coverage area of 38.000m2. The water used is pumped into a reservoir downstream from the public rainwater drainage system. Our future goal is to increase the area of operation and to guarantee the irrigation needs over a larger area. irrigation needs over a larger area.
