A project by CASA - the Setúbal Homeless Support Centre, which emerged during the covid-19 pandemic when they encountered a food shortage due to the "Pingo Doce" supermarket running out of stock and donating surplus food. This is how a group emerged on the social network "Facebook", which called for the creation of volunteer groups to donate the food and prepare the meals. Each team has a maximum of five members, who bring all the ingredients to make a soup, main course and dessert for the 90 users supported by CASA. The project has several partners, one of which is the União das Freguesias de Setúbal (Union of Setúbal Parishes), which, in addition to the equipment, also regularly provides supplies for the meals.
