The Sustech Ability Association (SuA) was created in 2021 with the aim of developing social entrepreneurship in Montemor-o-Novo, a town located in a rural territory in the interior of Portugal, where people with specific needs abound. Young people with a lack of opportunities, unemployment, depopulation and isolation, among others. Our non-profit organisation wants to take a personal and close approach to building a path of constant learning, by developing essential skills for lifelong learning through non-formal education. SuA aims to create the conditions for identifying problems and then researching solutions. The mentality of social entrepreneurship, in the sense of trying to understand the reality that surrounds us, evaluating it and, once we have collected the data that can lead to conclusions, trying to adopt an active behaviour that can lead to the established objectives.
