Startup Leiria Inovação Social is a project of Startup Leiria, a business incubator and accelerator. This project aims to support initiatives that promote innovative responses to social problems. This support is provided through mentoring, support in strategising how to approach the problem, connections to partners and support in attracting investment and funding. In addition to these tools, Startup Leiria Inovação Social develops acceleration programmes and bootcamps in order to find solutions to the major challenges facing society today. In this way, Startup Leiria Inovação Social wants social entrepreneurs to be better prepared when it comes to implementing their project, thus enabling them to generate the greatest possible impact. This project began in 2018 and has supported around 50 initiatives.
