The starting point for the José Estêvão School Group's Education Project (2018-2022) is the SDGs. As such, the coordination structures, teachers, students and the educational community are challenged to develop activities, projects and initiatives in line with the SDGs. All the activities included in the school's Annual Activity Plan and in the class projects (110 classes from 1st to 12th grade) since the 2018-2019 school year must contribute to the pursuit of the SDGs. Even the students' actions under the Orç. Budget are based on the SDGs. The projects, actions and initiatives carried out by each class have two moments during the school year when they are shared with the community: in January, "Ser AEJE Day" (an activity in which students are invited to get to know the work of the classes through a "trip" with a Passport) and in May, Group Day (ODSpaper to find out what each class is doing to change the world www.diarioaveiro.pt/noticia/70394).
