Being the Choice

The Ser a Escolha-E9G Project, funded under the 9th Generation of the Escolhas Programme, is a community intervention project that presents itself as an innovative social balance response based on sustained and balanced development throughout the different stages of development, presenting solutions for the social inclusion and professional integration of young people from vulnerable socio-economic backgrounds in the parish of Rio Tinto. Children and young people, as well as their families, will be able to take advantage of a range of activities that aim to support their school career and integration into the labour market, through study support, vocational guidance and the promotion of employability and entrepreneurship skills, as well as promoting the acquisition of personal, social and emotional skills, through specialised psychological support and non-formal education, artistic, cultural, environmental, IT, multimedia and sports activities.
