The re-naturalisation of the playgrounds will be carried out at Arreigada Primary School. It seeks to solve fundamental problems such as the lack of structures for outdoor educational activities, low biodiversity and the lack of specific places for socialising and leisure. It transforms the playground into a playful and educational environment and inspires sustainable practices and a greater connection between children and the environment, reinforcing the commitment to sustainability. We already started last year with the construction of a bug hotel, a pond and a vegetable garden. We've started building a library tree, but we've yet to finalise it. The trunks are already in place to serve as benches. This year we will continue the project, building nest boxes, wooden swings, sensory paths and the hobbit house. If possible, we would also like to create places to raise animals (chickens and rabbits). The students will build the structures themselves. It's a way of reinforcing their sense of belonging.
