The Re-food movement is an independent, citizen-led, 100% voluntary organisation, an eco-humanitarian charity community, working to eliminate food waste and hunger in every neighbourhood. Re-food operates in and for the community, working without salaries and avoiding any and all costs or investments that do not serve its mission. Refood Cascais began its activity on 15 March 2015, based in the Marechal Carmona neighbourhood in Fontainhas and providing support to families living in the parishes of Alcabideche, Cascais and Estoril; in addition, the Alcabideche centre was created on 18 October 2018.

We develop our local activity by always strengthening ties with the community, thanks to the great generosity of our Volunteers and Partners, and in this way organising various types of events for the general public.
