An inter-municipal project involving a consortium of social organisations, SEIVA and ASI, comprising offices for the immigrant population: CLAIM - Local Support Centre for the Integration of Immigrants in Maia, GASI - Social Support Office and the Employment and Entrepreneurship Office. These spaces provide information and support in the reception and integration process, liaising with local and national structures and promoting interculturality at municipal level. Support includes regularisation with AIMA, nationality processes, family reunification, and other areas such as social support, Social Security, access to health, education, housing, work and other day-to-day issues. They also organise active job search activities, entrepreneurship and information sessions on tax commitments, contracts, housing, gender equality, dating violence, health and teaching the Portuguese language. At the same time, they promote the appreciation of diversity and the prevention of racist and xenophobic behaviour.
