QpI aims to provide professional training and increase educational qualifications through a structured intervention tailored to the target groups. A profile of residents was identified, mainly women, aged over 45, unemployed and with low qualifications (between the 1st and 2nd cycle of basic education), clearly showing a low level of investment in their educational and professional qualifications. In order to raise awareness of the need to increase schooling and qualifications, and on the basis of the importance of literacy and investment in education and training for career development, we designed training pathways for schooling (RVCC+VA) and training pathways for professional qualification (VA). The aim of implementing this programme is to improve the literacy, education and training levels of adults, helping to raise the qualification levels of the population and to create more and better employability.
