The SCORE project is a Horizon 2020-funded project (GA No 101003534), led by the Atlantic Technological University in Sligo (Ireland), which aims to increase the resilience of coastal cities to climate change. In a network of 10 'Coastal Cities Living Labs' (CCLL), co-creation strategies, Ecosystem-Based Approaches (EBA) and innovative technologies will be implemented to equitably and sustainably increase the resilience of coastal cities to climate change. The project aims to create a CCLL in Oeiras to tackle specific challenges related to rising sea levels, coastal erosion and extreme events. The project's expected objectives for Oeiras are: ▪ Raise awareness of climate and environmental risks in the municipality. Increasing knowledge about extreme climate risks and their impact on the territory and its populations. Make the municipality of Oeiras more resilient to rising sea levels and extreme events, as well as water scarcity. This project is funded by the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation: Horizon 2020 (Grant agreement ID 101003534).
