Inframoura, in 2020, together with four local social investors, namely Loulé Municipal Council, Vilamoura Marina, Quarteira Parish Council and Vilamoura Sailing, are part of the project Oficina Mar Vivo, a project of the António Aleixo Foundation to combat the problem of youth unemployment in the parish of Quarteira. The project aims for participants to acquire interpersonal skills through collective experiences, with nautical carpentry and related activities in the fishing port as a vehicle for integration. The project, being close to its end date (December 2022), has been successful in achieving its commitment, with a large number of young people taking part in the projects and workshops, and the various nautical carpentry pieces developed are a result of this.
