Youth in Mentamorphosis Project

The Mira Jovem em Mentamorfose (Mira Youth in Mentamorphosis) project aims to address the most destructive problems in the Casal da Mira neighbourhood and, through its intervention, start a process of discontinuity in the current generational cycle of behaviour, ways of living and schooling. The project aims to break with this current reality by empowering its participants, shifting their focus away from the reality of the neighbourhood and towards an inclusive reality full of alternatives and expectations. To this end, our participants have a wide range of activities of interest to them, essentially sports and leisure activities, as well as a more artistic side, circus art and cynotherapy activities. Support and development of digital and study-related activities. The goal is to present our participants with a range of new and good perspectives, in contrast to the neighbourhood norm.
