The "PIC - Projeto de Intervenção na Comunidade" is a project that aims to intervene in the Bairro do Pendão and Pego-Longo neighbourhoods in the parish of Queluz-Belas and has as its general objectives to work on issues such as early school leaving and failure among children, risk behaviour among young people and, finally, the impact of the pandemic on older people (seniors). The result of this intervention will be audiovisual campaigns (e.g. videos) produced by the groups worked on and which will be widely disseminated through the various social networks of the partner entities. The typology of this project fits into a service to the community and covers the Health Axis, where interventions are intended to promote health, healthy lifestyles and disease prevention, and also covers the Social Axis, which provides for the development of actions to support the educational process and social cohesion interventions to promote greater levels of socialisation.
