The 9th Generation Choices Programme in Paços de Ferreira, better known as Percursos (De)talhados - E9G, began its activity on 1st October 2023. It is a programme promoted by the Portuguese Republic and the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth, I.P., and is co-financed by People 2030, Portugal 2030 and the European Union, through the European Social Fund. Promoted by Paços de Ferreira Municipal Council, its Managing Entity is Academia Profissional Prof. Albino de Matos - Associação. The main objectives of this programme are the social inclusion of population groups that show greater levels of social fragility, the promotion of equality and the empowerment of the community, with instruments that provide for the well-being of the population. This project will last 36 months and will work through a series of activities, to be carried out in partnership, within two areas of strategic intervention: MEASURE 1 - Education, Training and Employment: aims to contribute to school success, the reduction of absenteeism and school drop-outs, qualification and vocational training and the promotion of employment, employability and entrepreneurship in a context of digital transition;

MEASURE 2 - Community Dynamisation and Citizenship: aims to contribute to greater awareness of civic and community rights and duties, and to the promotion of the arts, sport, culture, health, non-formal education and formal and informal citizen participation, with an impact on interpersonal and intercultural relationships, well-being and talent management, as well as stimulating critical and creative thinking.
