The Environmental Observatory is a free service that works in the fields of environmental education and nature conservation. In the educational field, it runs two structural programmes: "Observatory Goes to School" and "Observatory Hour". The mission of the "Observatory Goes to School" programme is to bring science and sustainability closer to school communities by promoting practical and theoretical sessions on topics such as recycling, biodiversity, invasive species, wetlands and climate change. The activities, adapted to the different levels of education, include workshops, educational games, field trips and environmental intervention actions, fostering critical thinking and ecological citizenship. The "Observatory Hour", aimed at the community and families, pursues the same objectives, providing environmental awareness and learning experiences outside the school context, strengthening the link between the population and the local natural heritage.
