In a partnership between the City Council and the APPACDM of Viana do Castelo, the "Water Sports for All" project came about as a complement to the "Nautics in Schools" project, where water sports are part of the Physical Education curricular unit, thus enabling access and participation of each and every student (including students with disabilities) in water sports, namely swimming, sailing, surfing, rowing and canoeing.
