A project to support informal carers and their dependents, through activities that prevent burnout in the former and, if this already happens, support them in reversing the situation, through practical actions such as self-help groups, mindfulness and coaching sessions, psychology consultations and leisure time. Meanwhile, a team of alternative carers takes care of the dependents. This project is funded by the Portugal Social Innovation Mission Structure, with the Municipality of Braga as the social investor and the municipality itself, the Local Health Unit, the Association of Carers, Families and Friends of Braga, the Portuguese Red Cross - Braga Delegation and Sporting Clube de Braga as founding partners, in addition to the municipality itself through the health and innovation and social cohesion departments.
