The first Miyawaki Forest planted in a school in the Alentejo, covering 100 square metres, is intended to benefit the school community by providing shade and reducing temperatures during the Alentejo's sunny summers. Started at the beginning of 2023, this project was made possible thanks to the collaboration between Forest Impact and Alem Risco, with the support of Évora Town Council. More than 50 students of various ages were actively involved in the planting day.
