Lisbon Zero Waste Map
LISBOA LIXO ZERO is a collaborative map for publicising the city's goods, services, spaces, facilities and infrastructures that promote community well-being and sustainability in the neighbourhood and community in which they are located.
The Map was born out of the BipZip CML 2020 "Chain Impact Movement (MIC)" pilot project promoted by Zero Waste Lab in partnership with community development organisations in the city, with the aim of building a new local culture of circular resource management, which is necessary both for the well-being of communities and for the health of the environment. It is the result of participatory mapping work with the residents of four Lisbon territories - Prodac (Marvila), Alta de Lisboa (Lumiar), City Centre (Alfama) and Ajuda. A set of elements promoting community well-being at neighbourhood level were identified, reflected in the different categories of the map.
