The aim of this sustainability initiative is to reduce food waste by giving Meeting Place customers the opportunity to take home any leftovers from their meals purchased at Food-Court shops. The boxes, which are available free of charge, are designed to hold food (resistant to oils and fats) and are biodegradable and recyclable. The aim of this initiative is to prevent food waste, raise awareness and move towards zero waste and use environmentally friendly materials. Two pack sizes are available - 780ml and 1350ml. Average monthly consumption/utilisation is: 2500 units of 780ml 400 units of 1350ml Project start: 07/01/2022 11 months - around 32,000 boxes already available
