The young auditors project has been part of the action plan of the ECO ESCOLAS programme at the Alice Nabeiro Educational Centre since 2018. A platform has been created of local organisations and companies where the parents and family members of the students work, which are audited by our young eco-scientists in the areas of recycling, energy, common spaces, noise, eco-containers, water, protective equipment and the lighting quality of workspaces. In 2025, our partners include the Campo Maior municipality, the three parish councils in the municipality, the Nabeiro Delta Cafés Group companies and the Coração Delta social solidarity association. Our auditors, in groups of four, visit the workplaces, duly identified and armed with a board with a checklist on which they award points according to what was observed and the areas mentioned above, and a box in which to write down their observations. At the end, a stamp is awarded with 1 to 5 stars.
