GAIA Rogil is a community space and food distribution point that is part of the Colmeia - Local Food Network network, run by Cooperativa Integral da Terra. Located in the parish of Rogil, in the municipality of Aljezur, its mission is to bring producers and consumers closer together, promoting access to fresh, local products grown in a sustainable way. In addition to its role as a shop and food hub, GAIA Rogil organises food education initiatives, workshops and cultural events, strengthening community cohesion and enhancing the local economy. By directly supporting producers in the region and facilitating conscious consumption by families, it contributes to the regeneration of ecosystems, the reduction of the ecological footprint and the construction of a true social and solidarity economy in the area.
