EPES Junior aims to promote the integration and social inclusion of all children and young people, preventing future situations of social exclusion and marginalisation. This population often has high levels of school failure. The aim is to work together to develop personal and social skills so that they feel more motivated, confident and determined in their school career. It is a space adapted to the reality and needs of each individual, where, in addition to the above, fun and recreational activities are developed, giving children and young people the opportunity to awaken and stimulate creativity, as well as celebrate festive dates that mark cultural milestones. It should be noted that EPES Junior takes place at the CPA in Gaia and Cascais, with a total of 63 children and young people attending in 2019.
