A project aimed at training teaching staff and promoting the inclusion of children with disabilities in the school environment. It is an initiative designed to promote the values of inclusion, citizenship and self-representation by training teaching staff at educational establishments in Oeiras. The project enables the assessment of existing barriers to children’s participation, the development of strategies to mitigate these barriers, the implementation of measures to promote participation and inclusion, the creation of intervention groups within classes comprising pupils with disabilities, and the promotion of inclusive attitudes amongst parents and educators throughout the school community. Project objectives: - Capacity-building and training for teaching staff; - Adaptation of school environments; - Creation of learning opportunities tailored to each child, which enhance their development and help them overcome the identified barriers
