The Parish Council of Santa Maria, São Pedro and Matacães was honoured with the Diploma of Member of the Punctual Payment Commitment by a group of entities including ACEGE, the Portuguese Accountants' Association, Caixa Geral de Depósitos, the Portuguese Business Confederation and IAPMEI, among others. The average payment period to suppliers by the Parish Council is 15 days.
