Live Science Club at "100pegada" School

The Clube Ciência Viva na Escola "100pegada", based at the Prof. Sebastião Teixeira School in Salir (Agrupamento Padre João Coelho Cabanita), aims to be a centre for strategic actions for the development of different areas of competence - scientific, technical and technological. The "100pegada" Ciência Viva Club at school covers a range of school levels, from pre-school up to 9th grade at the Prof. Sebastião Teixeira schools and the basic schools of Alte, Ameixial, Benafim and Tôr. The "100pegada" Club seeks to promote student learning in all its dimensions, involving the community in the life of the school, favouring practical and experimental work, interdisciplinarity, field trips, workshops and collaborative work (formal and non-formal, between school cycles, subjects and between schools), generating more flexible organisational logics and encouraging the sharing of knowledge, experiences and good practices and the opening up of the school to the community.
