The Educational Ecological Centre of Paul de Tornada - Professor João Evangelista (CEEPT), inaugurated on May 20, 2000, is an Equipment for Environmental Education, whose main objectives are the promotion of environmental education and dissemination of the natural values of the Paul de Tornada Local Nature Reserve. The Centre has an educational service open to the educational community and the general public and has a set of valences that allow the realisation of activities of awareness, training and participation of the citizen in matters of environmental education, also functioning as a space of reception and interpretation of the Natural Reserve. Different types of activities are carried out, such as guided tours, thematic ateliers, workshops, lectures, training actions and environmental volunteering actions.
