The temporary accommodation centre (CAT) is an integrated social response to combat social exclusion, aimed at temporarily sheltering homeless people.
Its mission is to promote the quality of life of homeless people by facilitating the construction and pursuit of a realistic life project.
As well as providing services to meet basic needs (accommodation, meals, personal hygiene), CAT has a wide range of responses in terms of monitoring, guidance and individualised intervention at social, psychological and health promotion levels, general well-being and quality of life, with a view to developing and achieving the process of full social reintegration.
