The Bora Lá E9G project arose from the need to respond to the problem of school failure, dropout and absenteeism in the municipality. Idanha-a-Nova is a territory with social, economic and geographical characteristics that directly jeopardise the success of children and young people at school. The project aims to combat the risk factors identified and contribute to the academic success of children and young people at risk of absenteeism, with school failure and/or from vulnerable socio-economic backgrounds in the School Group, by increasing social, personal and digital skills, fostering involvement with the school environment and increasing experiences in various activities. It also aims to improve the quality of life of the student and, consequently, their household. The design of the project reflects the needs to be met and also the complementarity with existing interventions.
