The Biggest Mini Forest is a network of edible and regenerative forests, based on a standard design module of 3m x 3m (9 m2), with 4m2 reserved for perennial species and a 0.5m strip around it for annual plants. This model is designed to produce food not only during the first few months after implementation, but also over several generations without relying on chemical fertilisers or pesticides. This module can be replicated once, twice or more after the initial implementation, helping to create an increasingly resilient, more productive system with a more significant impact.

In Castro Marim, we currently have 8 plots implemented, occupying a total area of 128m2 at Quinta da Fornalha. However, the implementation of three more plots is already planned and will take place during the October 2025 training sessions.
