The "Bairro Restaurativo de Alcoitão" project arises from the need to positively influence the Alcoitão neighbourhood, which has been home to the Casa de Saída da Confiar Apoio Familiar de Cascais (CAF-Cascais) since 2018. This is a community with various needs that, through the approximation between the users of the Confiar's Outgoing House and the technicians of the same institution who accompany its operation, it was possible to identify and identify. In these terms, and considering that some of the users of CAF-Cascais live in the Alcoitão neighbourhood, we assume the need to improve all the surrounding environment and conviviality. This is the desideratum that drives us in this application. Through the principles and practices of Restorative Justice, the basis of Confiar's action, we intend to promote the emergence of dialogue "fora", anchored in restorative circles between the different communities living in the Alcoitão neighbourhood.
