AZIMUTE-E9G is a three-year project, starting in October 2023 and ending in 2026, co-financed by the Escolhas Programme and belonging to the Cooperativa de Solidariedade Social do Povo Portuense. The project is aimed at children and young people between the ages of ten and eighteen in the parish of Paranhos in the city of Porto and its main objective is to combat school dropout and absenteeism, as well as promoting the integration and inclusion of young people from unfavourable backgrounds, such as those from vulnerable socio-economic backgrounds or Third Country Nationals (TCN). To achieve this goal, various activities will be developed at the Pêro Vaz de Caminha E.B. 2/3 School and at the Povo Portuense Social Solidarity Cooperative in the areas of digital literacy, sports, music, movement, communication and multimedia techniques. In addition, the project includes support for parental relationships and early counselling to improve the participants' school performance.
