The Viagem de Volta Association, founded in 1998, is a private social solidarity organisation that works in the social and health fields.

Viagem de Volta's objectives are to support social and community integration and promotion, acting in situations of socio-economic deprivation and inequality, exclusion or social vulnerability; and the prevention, promotion and protection of health in the area of addictive behaviours and dependencies (CAD).

Our aim is to be a benchmark institution in the services we provide through the promotion of social responses aimed at people in situations of social vulnerability, namely people with addictive behaviours and dependencies and/or people experiencing homelessness, fostering values for a more cohesive society. We want a society where vulnerability is not an insurmountable barrier, but an invitation to integrated collective action.
