The Friends of Formoa project, created by the Association of the same name, with environmental, social, cultural and citizenship objectives, aims to preserve, enhance and promote the small village of Formoa, located on the left bank of the River Guadiana, and to promote activities that contribute to improving the quality of life of its inhabitants, as well as protecting the environment and the natural and cultural heritage. In terms of citizenship, it is worth highlighting the movement created by AdF to oppose the implementation of the Pomarão water intake project by filing a lawsuit.
