This project aims to be a response to promote initiatives for development and empowerment of local communities, as well as to intervene quickly and effectively in order to create more resilient, inclusive and healthy communities, avoiding stigmas, prejudices and barriers associated with the Roma community. During 12 months, 5 activities will be developed to promote interpersonal skills and multiculturalism. At the same time, arts and crafts workshops will be streamlined with a view to the production of materials and consolidation of knowledge acquired in previous activities. The last activity will be for the technical training of volunteers. For the preparation of this project, the Roma community of the Cabo Mor neighbourhood was consulted and played an active role in the preparation of the whole life cycle of the project, from the identification of needs to the analysis of resources. The beneficiaries of this project will later become training agents for other beneficiaries from the same community.
