The Alternativamente Project aims to strengthen the social, sharing and circular economy as an alternative that mitigates inequalities and directly supports the population through a solidarity and exchange system, where there is no currency with a market value, but the focus is on people and the relationships between them. We believe that this type of economy is an alternative to the market economy and that it allows supporting economic and social challenges, especially if it starts from local initiatives, promoted by the Local Base Associations, which are the great pillar of support for the communities. It is also important to strengthen the sustainability of the associations themselves, based on this circular and sharing logic, in order to ensure that they cope with this crisis and manage to be present to support the community
