Inframoura is part, since 2020, of the local accommodation for birds project, promoted by Associação Vita Nativa - Conservação do Ambiente, which aims to promote the reproduction of bird species typical of urban environments in the Algarve. The project, which began in 2020, has consisted of installing approximately 2,000 nest boxes throughout the Algarve, and specifically 60 in Vilamoura. The species that have benefited in this territory are the species of tits, the black-fronted grouse and starlings and the little owls. The success of this project is in fact the high number of offspring born with the project's seal, which proves that this is a good way to make the urban areas of the Algarve increasingly biodiverse.
