O programa municipal reFlorestar teve início em 2003, no seguimento da campanha Limpar o Mundo, Limpar Portugal, que consiste na arborização e rearborização de áreas pertencentes à Câmara Municipal do Seixal.

Neste programa são realizadas uma série de ações com vários parceiros, com vista à plantação de árvores autóctones, adaptadas às características edafoclimáticas do concelho, em espaços verdes municipais. (missing translation)
