This project is being carried out as part of a partnership between the Municipality of Idanha-a-Nova, the University of Coimbra (FLUC) and the New University of Lisbon (FCSH). It is based on an innovative and multidisciplinary dimension, which has contributed to enhancing the historical and cultural heritage, seeking new readings and efficient uses (compatible with its safeguarding), capable of providing enjoyment and adding value to the tourist offer available, thereby helping to boost local economies. a) Archaeological excavations; b) 2D and 3D surveys of historic buildings and 3D reconstructions; c) Multidisciplinary studies with a variety of innovative methodological and technological approaches; d) Socially projecting the research work carried out, transferring knowledge to society, both to the school community and to the general public; e) Training university students in a practical work context (undergraduate and postgraduate training).
