The gastronomic initiative, Degustar Matosinhos, consists of presenting tasting menus consisting of a starter, main course (meat, fish or vegetarian) and dessert and aims to extend to the entire municipality of Matosinhos. Any restaurant in Matosinhos can join the initiative by presenting its tasting menu for €15, €25, €35 or €60 (in the case of the Seafood editions). The menu presented must be made available to any customer who requests it, for a period of one month, at both lunch and dinner, and only the previously indicated value of the menu will be charged. The aim is to publicise local restaurants located throughout the municipality and encourage consumption and demand for Matosinhos cuisine.
