The Algarvensis Geopark Loulé-Silves-Albufeira , a UNESCO World Geopark, is a territorial area with well-defined boundaries, which has a geological heritage of great importance at national and international level, combining a geoconservation strategy and a set of environmental education and awareness policies, with the promotion of sustainable socio-economic development based on geotourism activities, involving local communities, contributing to the enhancement and promotion of local products.
The Algarvensis Geopark is a territory of identity, inspiration, transformation and belonging, which invites you to visit, stay and invest, consciously and in harmony with the natural and cultural values present. In short, it's a happy way of being and living in the territory, bequeathing it to future generations!
