This project's mission is "To bring children closer to agriculture by developing their curiosity and love of the land, animals and what they give us" and is developed in a practical context with local agricultural entrepreneurs in the areas of horticulture, fruit growing and livestock farming. The environment, the sustainable way of exploiting the soil, the animals and food production is the stage for learning. As well as events open to the community held on the various partner farms, we also have a partnership with a local school in Fontinhas, because we believe that children are the future and are committed to the largest area of economic activity in our region. With more than 20 partners, this project promotes equal opportunities, environmental sustainability and healthy eating, as well as growing children in healthy environments that are conducive to developing the skills that will make for a more aware and environmentally friendly community.
