ECF_Buildings aims to ensure that public policies, financial support mechanisms and administrative support are designed effectively to enable populations, especially the most vulnerable, to benefit from improvements in the energy efficiency of their homes. In addition, renovations to public buildings and the installation of energy-efficient equipment must translate into real gains for all citizens, with a special focus on low- and middle-income groups.

By combining ambitious renovation strategies with social justice measures, this initiative seeks to combat energy poverty, improve public health and increase the resilience of Portuguese homes in the face of cold winters and increasingly intense heatwaves.

One of the project's central actions is the "Warm Home for Everyone" campaign, which emphasises the importance of efficient housing that guarantees comfort, safety and health, while promoting accessibility and sustainability. Our aim is to build a future in which all people have access to decent homes, which reduce energy consumption and associated costs, contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. The campaign includes communication and awareness-raising components on the subject, as well as advocacy initiatives in conjunction with national and European alliances. In this way, we aim to promote better policies that strengthen people's quality of life, creating more comfortable, sustainable and accessible spaces for all.
