ADEPE - Associação para o Desenvolvimento de Peniche (Peniche Development Association) is a non-profit development association covering the entire territory of the Western Region. We promote integrated sustainable development in the economic, social, cultural and environmental spheres, promoting the implementation and management of national, European Union or co-financed programmes. The Oeste Costeiro Local Action Group - GAL Oeste Costeiro, whose Managing Entity is ADEPE, is responsible for managing and boosting the coastal community-based local development strategy - EDLBC in the Oeste Region, during the "PORTUGAL 2030" cycle of EU support (2021-2027). VISION: "A territory that fosters sustainable blue development, characterised by entrepreneurial, innovative and qualified communities, based on scientific knowledge and local traditions, heritage and culture, promoting quality of life and sustained and cohesive socio-economic development."
